Crazies Come Out With The Full Moon

You know it's true! Lol... It's a calling card for all the lunatics when it's a full moon- but the west coast has this "once-in-a-life-time" 'Super Blue Blood' moon happening tomorrow! I mean, it makes for an interesting day at work at least- but c'mon folks! Those that are supersticious think the 'moon' and it's different states mean different things. My ex-boyfriend's mother thought a Blood Moon meant "someone would die". I didn't get that since people are born and die everyday... Seemed like the odds were in the moon's favor!😂 (Sorry!) Honestly it was funny and creepy at the same time. I know I have a weird sense of humor. Muh bad. Nonetheless:
If you are a Crazy- We still love you & God bless ya... but take it easy on other folks and please be safe!
If you're 'Normal' (whatever that is)- stay clear of the crazies for a bit. If you happen to hear from them at your Customer Service Job, recognize the crazy and giggle to yourself a 'thank you' to me for giving you the heads up! Lol.
This moon too shall pass!

When You're Hurt & Broken

1/28/2018

Picture
It sucks. Legitimately it's the worst feeling in the world because someone that mattered to you let you down. It's the only reason you'd be broken to the core. You may be broken but you're still holding yourself together. I can only speak to my experience- and when I'm hurting I turn to God. All of my ability with tarot and my intuition takes a back seat, because I know everything I am comes from Him. When I'm uneasy about anything that I can't control I go into distraction mode- I pray, play inspirational music on the piano, I escape in a book, etc. Whatever makes me feel better and allows me to breathe again. It's not easy, it's simply a choice to turn your back on the pain instead of letting it consume you.
It's a sign of strength for those that see past their destruction to seek help. I'm ever so thankful that people turn to me- I'm not a doctor. I'm not a therapist. I'm simply a single mom that's felt pain, have conquered it, and have this special connection to God that allows me to help others. I can't imagine God giving this gift to anyone without the intention of them offering help to others.
My point- there's a beautiful future for all us broken folks. Our bodies have this amazing ability to heal our hearts and souls. Things always get better. There's forgiveness, there's new beginnings, there's a 2nd chance at love and there's JOY to be found after every storm whether you're broken or have broken. ☺️🙏🏽❤️

Your Light

Picture
There will be shiny, glittery lights from expensive things... They only reflect light.
There will be lights to guide you in the dark...
They are lit from energy with a pricetag.
There will be candles with a soft glow...
They are fueled by fire with temporary wax and wick.
The only light that matters is Yours lit by His grace, everlasting.
-Shine on folks!

Darkness & Light of Suicide

1/23/2018

Picture
I debated on whether to address the question that keeps popping up with my clients/friends, this is the topic of suicide. I feel the anxiety and desperation folks have with considering how to approach me with this topic. My auto response is "I don't do death, I can't advise on it." The reason being is not the act of suicide itself, it's the emotions of those left behind dealing with the aftermath. I feel these emotions as dark & negative- I do my very best to keep my cards in the light during a reading- so I never touch death because I'm too emotionally sensitive to your emotions. I can't explain it- but I feel your emotions during a reading. (If you allow me in.) As you can imagine, after a while that would take its toll on me and I'd be drained unable to do what I love- helping people. I believe this boundary has allowed my gift to blossom and help others.

Although I don't ask my cards about death or suicides, I do have strong feelings about them. I'll keep it brief- but I do believe that the deep sadness and desperation you must feel to take your own life is an illness. The main worry for loved ones is if they'd be allowed in the kingdom of heaven after taking such drastic measure to end the gift of life they were given. Are they ok? Do they hear me talk to him/her? The answer, that I believe to be true based on my personal experiences, is YES. God is love, unconditional love for all his children. He made us human and knows that naturally we'll make mistakes, we'll hurt, and we'll be weak at times. He's forgiving & understanding. He wouldn't deny someone into his kingdom because of an illness. Those lost are at peace now. They don't feel pain, not suffering any longer-they are no longer lost. They hear you because they watch over you. Those left behind are simply left to heal from their loss by focussing on living the best life they can. Find the happy suicide took from your loved one and live a beautiful life like they'd want you to. Please. We should be talking about this, it's become that thing we only discuss after it happens. Depression is real and we need to stay vigilent with our family & friends. BE SOMEONE'S REASON FOR LIVING. Tell people how much they are loved!
I love yahll!
☺️🙏🏽❤️

POWER OF PRAYER- YUP PATTY, EVEN WITH 'SPORTS'

1/21/2018

Picture
There's peace found in prayer. Whatever is on your mind, whether big or small, lift it up to the big guy upstairs and release all that energy you created in worrying about it. It truly does heal you. You don't have to figure everything out, you don't have to understand the How. There's no wrong way to pray. You can be any where, doing anything. You just need to open your heart & have faith. There's nothing God can't handle (even the Yankees, Patty). Believe that you'll gain the strength from Him you need to get through this day and the next season. 😉 Even unanswered prayers are blessings, so don't be discouraged and stop praying all together.

Tarot certainly may bring to light some challenges you've experienced or currently going through but there's always light, JOY and hope to be found in the future. That's the beauty of tarot- no matter your circumstances I can help guide you in the right direction to your best & highest. Be sure to lift up your thanks in prayer too! He hears it all.

Fear Gets Power From You

1/18/2018

Picture
There are a lot of things to fear in this life, Tarot isn't one of them. Fear is something you create by choosing it as a response to what ever is impacting you. You may not have control over what comes your way, but you always have the choice on how you respond. Remember Tarot's main rule is Do No Harm.
It may show you something you weren't ready to admit to yourself or others- but it will also help you deal with it, at times just by giving you the heads up so you can prepare for it. Sometimes it brings awareness to behaviors you weren't aware of that are negatively effecting a relationship or a job so you can fix it. It will always lead you to your light, your highest & best. It may tell you take that leap you've been considering but are too scared to move forward with. It may point to a blessing you feel doesn't fit your lifestyle at this time- recognize that God is still in control and knows what you're capable of. Trust.
Life is about chances and making mistakes-allow yourself to live without fear and realize there are no mistakes just opportunities to grow & learn. We don't regret the steps we take, only those we didn't take... Why? Because even our wrong paths will lead us where we belong. There truly is a reason for everything you experience. Be fearless friends & family! 😉

The Guardian Angel

1/16/2018

Picture
The topic of guardian angels/spirits/ghosts, what have you, is sometimes hard to approach as most of my clients are strangers and I never ask one's personal religion. In fact I prefer to not know them at all before a reading, it makes it easier for believing in all of this if I am clueless about them and they are allowed to see there's something special about this process. I am a Christian, a child of God- those following me on Facebook are not shocked by this given my postings. 😉When I read tarot it's my prayer for that person- not just my interpretation of what the cards care to show us. Sometimes there are cards that depict angels and may refer to a guardian angel watching over them. Folks are always takenaback by it. Are we really surprised though?

Most of us worship a God that we can't see but we believe any way, right? There are angels, some that are just normal people that God uses to help others in need. Some are ghosts/spirits that watch over us after they've 'gone'. I've had my share of being called on to help others (no, I wouldn't call myself an angel- but the folks I have helped have when there's no other explanation) & I have witnessed unexplainable situations that can only be explained as angel intervention. I don't see ghosts or talk to them- but I can feel their presence and that they mean well. The cards can reflect a guardian angel at times. Of course some folks think- "A GHOST?!!" and freak out...Yahll stop watching those crazy ghost shows! Lol 😂 It ain't that serious yahll! It's a blessing having someone watch over and protect you through this crazy journey called life. Some of us (me) can use all the help we can get! It's a gift. Don't fear it. ☺️🙏🏽❤️

SOMETIMES EVEN GIFTS SUCK

1/13/2018

Picture
True story. The greatest feeling is being able to help someone with this gift through tarot. Giving folks hope & JOY is a huge reward for me. I love getting feedback of how accurate their reading was and how it helped them by being prepared for what's to come. This part of my gift I truly love.
However there is a different aspect to this gift that impacts my close friends & family. Not only do I have a gift for tarot, I'm able to make predictions through my intuition for those I'm emotionally connected with in my life. Imagine a long string that's connected from you to your loved ones and you're able to feel a big event coming, their emotions, & their struggles. This is more difficult to handle than just a regular tarot card reading that is simply meant to guide folks to their light. Tarot is a safe place for me... It's just light & does no harm. However with my family & friends I have an internal 'warning system'. Sometimes it's overwhelming. I know it's a blessing from God but it can also be a challenge for me because I don't discuss THIS with a lot of family, surprisingly despite me starting a business. I'm still uncomfortable with it all. Believe it or not I'm an introvert. Imagine having a feeling of dread and not being able to know anything but who it'll impact and you can't see what will happen you can only feel something wrong with a short timer on it. Usually when a friend comes to me with a problem I can use my intuition to guide them and I'll have a heads up to what may happen and we can avoid it... However, when the issue is unknown - I'm literally in the dark knowing something is going to rock them to the core & I'm helpless to stop it. Tarot helps even me trying to figure out these feelings, but there's too many influencers that sometimes it still won't give us much answers just general info. It's not a comforting feeling. This feeling isn't about the weather and getting rained on, it's usually life changing. Right now I'm in the dark about a close family member and it's literally killing me. I've been pulling in all my favors with God and praying I'm wrong this once- but I know in my heart I won't be. I just hope I've prepared my family enough. Sometimes just a heads up can change things for the better. This instance made me remember when I was in college visiting my family in PR. I come from a divorced family & I am not close with a lot of my Aunts & Uncles. This one time I had a feeling & asked to see someone that I hadn't even talked to since my childhood. I had never been to her home, and I didn't know at the time that she was far away- but my father took me. That day I saved her life. So I don't doubt that whatever THIS is is a gift and a blessing. It's just not always easy, even when things work out.
I shared my concerns with my father yesterday and he didn't doubt me at all -just thanked me.
I hate this aspect, but sometimes life just has to happen- that's the hardest lesson. He mentioned my Abuela (Gramma) has my gift too....😑... What?! Thanks dad. I've only been struggling with this my whole life and only now making sense of it!😂 Don't ya love family?!!!
I truly thank you all for the prayers!

I'M ALWAYS ASKED HOW I STAY SO POSITIVE.

It Ain't Always Easy Folks!

Reality is life can be challenging. Some days hurdles are like gurdles!😂 It can squeeze the life outta you. You simply need to focus on what YOU yourself can change & place the rest in God's hands. It may be difficult, but it's the best way to stay sane. Try not to stress about things you have no control over. When you consider everything you CAN change you simply need to recognize that it's as temporary as you want it to be. I try & surround myself with people and things that make me happy. A support system can make the difference. Not having one tho isn't a bad thing, it just makes you stronger. It's always about your response/reaction. Do be careful to limit the interaction you have with toxic/negative people when you can because it does impact your mood & productivity. Making others happy makes me happy, doing good for others helps me to cope with the trials of life. Coffee! Oh my God, thank you for coffee! I couldn't function (nicely) without it.
It takes constant awareness & self reflection but it can change the world you live in as you see it. It's healing, really. Try it for a week, try and breathe positivity in every thing you do, say, think, feel & express. You'll notice the difference.
If you have a set back, it's ok. Breathe & think about how you can get your positivity back. Pray on it if necessary. Sometimes you just got to put a smile on your face & fake it until it becomes real! LMAO! So smile! ☺️🙏🏽❤️

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

LOTS OF LOVE INQUIRIES IN 2018!

One of the hardest decisions we all face is whether to stay in an unfulfilling/unhappy relationship in the hopes it may get better one day. When do you walk away? Do you stay in a marriage because your religion frowns upon leaving it? I've had a good number of folks come to me regarding this lately. It's truly a tough time I can't help but to empathize with as I have definitely been there a time or two... Or three...Or....Well- I digress! 🙄 😂

Love is not always packaged pretty. In our youth we romanticize it, idolize the idea, & we hold these expectations of what it is. Yup, then we get older & reality sets in.

Listen, I've been unlucky in the love dept a few times. Much to my dismay- I've had to explain to my kid, "Hey listen, finding your soul mate isn't always easy baby & sometimes it doesn't work out. I hope your first love is your soulmate, but if she's not- I hope you'll then understand what Mama is going through right now." Sadly after his first heart break he did understand, as all kids from divorced parents will eventually as they get older.

A break up of a marriage is truly soul changing. But it's not the end. God wants us to find happiness and despite my divorce I feel his love every day. Although it's happened to me the end of your story may be different. Personally, I'll never tell you to stay or leave an unhappy relationship. I'll simply read your cards & guide you towards your light of happiness regardless of your decision. I'll give advice based on the cards drawn for both eventualities to better & focus you and hope for the best outcome for you.

I don't see my readings as just a 'tarot reading' I see them as my prayers for those I read, and fortunately I think people understand that when we conclude our reading.

As always I wish you all the best of blessings. Please remember that the only regret folks have when leaving a marriage is not trying hard enough to make it work, it's never wrong to try when both parties are willing. You're not weak for trying to keep your family together, that's strength. True love knows forgiveness & mercy. 😘🙏🏽❤️
